Independent audit by ITS Global shows Greenpeace faked data to build phony case against APP
Greenpeace was caught using false and misleading information to attack the credibility of a company to advance its agenda, according to an independent peer reviewed audit released by ITS Global. ITS Global has found that Greenpeace falsified and exaggerated its case against Asia Paper & Pulp. The Greenpeace report cites false or fictitious information, including quotes that do not exist, maps showing land concessions that were never granted, and materials with significant margins of error, as high as 90 percent, presented as fact.

Products vs Global Environment
In recent months, several Western multinational companies have elected to halt the purchase of agricultural products from Southeast Asia. The companies – which include household names such as Unilever and Nestl* – have hastily caved in to political pressure from environmental groups and European labor and business interests. But these companies’ decision has been based on false and misleading information. And unless they revisit their actions, they threaten to do lasting harm to the people of Indonesia, to the global environment, and to their customers around the world.

Since mid-2008, more than 73,000 printing and graphics communications jobs have been lost, according to the Printing Industries of America, and if these few domestic paper producers get their way, it’s only going to get worse.
